I created a catalogue with found PNG's. Each spread functions as a type of textile, and a floral display for ordering. I was interested in the history of poison, as well as its associations in fairytales or Shakespeare literature in which poison is such a relevant theme. There is also a hierarchy to poisonous plants- some more rare than others. As well, there is an overbearing saturation in a lot of poisonous plants, while others, camouflage into gardens and local parks.

The catalogue functions as a part of a company named Enemies. This questions the notion of flower gift-giving, and how beautiful poisonous flowers can be. What would it be like if this existed? Does it give into the ill intentions of people psychologically?

Each subtitle represents the poisonous chemical found in the plants. And the description explains its effects and what it may do to your body.
